Starting at: $11.40/ hour  + tips + 25% Commission

Status: Full Time

Shift: Days, Swings

Responsibilities

The Lead Esthetician, as a senior member of the esthetics team, administers professional facials and cosmetic services to our guests, oversees and coordinates the work of other estheticians. They are also responsible for training and providing a successful onboarding to new employees, as well as handling administrative tasks such as ordering supplies or creating and updating training binders. They must hold and maintain a current state license.

Qualifications

  • Ideal applicant will have experience in advanced facial techniques and demonstrated ability to learn new facial techniques and products.
  • They will have experience as a Lead Aesthetician with duties that included training, and inventory.
  • Must be currently licensed by the Colorado State Board of Aesthetics.
  • Provide facials, facial and body waxing, and tinting services specific to client’s needs and goals.Perform body rituals (body scrubs, body masks, etc.) following established spa protocol.
  • Be 30 minutes early for the start of shift, ready to work, presentable, in uniform with nametag.
  • Effectively plan, check, and manage your schedule via SpaSoft throughout the day.
  • Follow state, national and company policies of safety and sanitation.
  • Maintain an active knowledge of products used in services as well as sold in boutique.
  • Regularly check for important notes from coworkers, and Therapist Supervisor.
  • Regularly check commission report and update management or Therapist Supervisor if any issues.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, & stocked treatment rooms.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Lead with the scheduling, training and hiring of Esthetics Team Members.
  • Remain educated on current trends and seek to keep the skin care program cutting edge and of the highest quality, using clean, luxury brands in keeping with Spa Monarch’s environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality and efficient work environment.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff, guests, equipment, or facilities requiring attention.
  • Perform Monthly supply inventory and let the management team know what supplies are needed for facial services.
  • Ensure that all the new hires complete their onboarding successful and sign the training binder. All new hires need to initial the training the lead esthetician covered during orientation.
  • Responsible for training the new hires on exiting protocols and communicate to the management team when they are ready to perform the services.
  • Ensure that the protocol binder is up to date.
  • Keep the training binder up to date with all the trainings and qualification.
  • Establish sales goals for the esthetician team.
  • Must be actively engaged in updating the esty team if there are any changes on the menu or in a protocol.
  • Must actively participate in the pre and post shift meetings.
