The Retail Manager works on-site at the casino and interfaces with external/internal customers, Team Members, and vendors on a regular basis. The position’s work schedule varies and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the operation. 

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide a warm welcome to our internal and external guests.
  • Ensure a 5 Star shopping experience for our guests.
  • Determine the best product mix to meet budget and sales goals.
  • Ensure inventory is conducted and accurate.
  • Organize events to execute vendor trainings and to bring exposure to the Gift Shop.
  • Develops, coaches and manages Team Members to consistently deliver five diamond service to guests.
  • Provide guidance and motivation to achieve optimal performance.
  • Responsible for scheduling, training and any coaching or disciplinary matters in relation to company and department policies.
  • Assist guest with any concerns that they may have and record such comments and concerns.
  • Complete and process all necessary paper work in neat and accurate manner.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE 

  • 2 years of previous retail experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Must be friendly, approachable and team oriented.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Computer Knowledge – excel, word, outlook
  • Ability to work well with others and alone.
  • Must be able to stand and for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
