The Benefits Supervisor at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. plays a pivotal role in enhancing employee satisfaction and retention by overseeing the administration of our comprehensive benefits programs. This position is responsible for managing health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations. Reporting to the HR Manager, the Benefits Supervisor serves as a trusted resource for team members, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them through benefits options to support their well-being.  In this role, you will collaborate with HR and Beneifit leadership to design and implement benefits strategies that align with Atlantis's commitment to excellence, while also managing vendor relationships and analyzing program effectiveness. Your expertise and dedication will directly impact our ability to attract and retain top talent, fostering a workplace where every team member feels valued and supported.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing benefits inquiries, assisting with claims, and guiding enrollment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA), maintaining accurate records and filings.
  • Negotiate with benefits vendors to secure competitive plans and monitor service quality to uphold Monarch’s high standards.
  • Analyze benefits utilization data to recommend cost-effective enhancements, presenting actionable insights to HR leadership.
  • Develop and distribute clear communication materials to educate team members on their benefits options and value.
  • Manage the benefits budget, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of benefits staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CEBS certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in benefits administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, with proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Analytical and business mindset to evaluate data and make strategic recommendations for benefits optimization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams and driving performance
