This person will contribute to our success by providing a variety of HR administrative duties.  This person will facilitate daily HR functions such as, keeping track of personnel records and supporting the interview process.  This role also involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
  • Coordinates activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of team member engagement, morale, and wellness
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Responsible for delivery of presentations (New Hire and Benefit Orientation) critical to the success of our Team Members
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (benefits, leaves of absences etc.)
  • Support and assist the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda
  • Coordinate HEB P and Flu shot clinics
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Assist the wardrobe department as needed for coverage
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
  • Support other functions as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and HR experience 
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Must posess superior attention to detail
  • Prior experience with HR databases and HRIS systems a plus
  • Ability to work with ATS software
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality and enter accurately
  • Good organizational and time management skills
